Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are seeking On-Call Firefighters based in Ashby, Coalville, Shepshed, Billesdon, Oakham, Uppingham, Market Harborough, Kibworth, Lutterworth, Market Bosworth and Loughborough Stations.
On-Call Firefighters will be paid an annual retaining fee relevant to the hours of availability provided. Salary £1,413.25 (Trainee), ranging from £1,472.10 - £4,416.30 (Development) and £1,883.75 - £5,651.25 (Competent) per annum, plus £12.91 - £17.20 per hour and £4.96 disturbance fee.
Please note that you will need to live or work within four minutes of the station you are applying for, with the exception of Market Bosworth and Billesdon which is six minutes.
About the On-Call Firefighters role: Our On-Call Firefighters receive an annual retaining fee dependent on the number of hours they are available and this can vary from the minimum 24 hours of availability per week (20% cover) to the maximum of 120 hours of availability per week (100% cover).
