As a Street Lighting Operative, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Maintenance of lighting columns, lighting brackets, lanterns, bollards and signs.
- Changing of lamps, lanterns, covers, electric cells, fuses, capacitors, switches.
- Assist Street Lighting Electricians with fault finding and repair.
- Assist with excavations for installations of feeder pillars, lighting columns, signposts, bollards, EV charge points and speed cameras.
- Management of onsite point of work risk assessments.
- Identify and report safety observations.
- Set up and removal of site traffic management / pedestrian management.
- Responsible for company property, equipment and vehicles.
