Are you ready to make a genuine difference in health and social care? We have an opportunity in our Care At Home team within an exciting new role. We are seeking passionate individuals to lead and support a team of front line Home Care Reablement Workers within East Renfrewshire.

This role gives you the chance to have a positive and direct impact on people’s lives and is vital in ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the people who use our service.

This is a role where you will directly line manage and mentor a forward thinking community based team. You will ensure that staff are supported to undertake regular training and development essential to their roles. You will engage with other professionals across the HSCP and additionally contribute to the smooth functioning of our automated scheduling system.

A key element of this role will also include developing and monitoring person centred care plans and ensuring an appropriate level of service delivery is in place to meet individuals’ assessed needs.

We are seeking someone who has a good knowledge and understanding of resource management within a social care setting. This includes having an awareness of the current challenges and pressures involved in providing this type of service, whilst also being able to effectively identify positive outcomes relating to delivery of care.

SSSC registration is required for this post and should be undertaken within the first 3 months of employment. This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
