We are recruiting for an experienced Welder to work for our client who are based in Hope Valley.

THE DUTIES OF A SHEET METAL WORKER:

  • Mig / Tig and spot welding experience is essential.
  • Fabricate and weld to a high quality, making bespoke products, sheet metal components.
  • Weld/fabricate frames from mild steel, stainless, angle iron and hollow section to a high standard.
  • Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Apprentice trained or time served fabricator/welder
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mathematical minded to work out tolerances.

THE HOURS:

This is a 12 months contract, 38 Hours per week, 4 day week, rotating shifts, Monday Thursday/Tuesday-Friday or 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of £17.50 per hour depending on experience. The salary will be determined following a weld test /interview.
