Neon Contracts is employing for our client in the West Bromwich area, they are a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. We are looking for an experienced material handler with an overhead crane and combi forklift licenses.

What you'll do:

  • Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts
  • Offload, identify and safely store raw material in coil and flat sheet form
  • Take responsibility for inspection goods for quality and quantity
  • Enter traceability data into manual and/or electronic records
  • Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
  • Be involved in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Hours of work will be 39 hours per week on a 2-week rota: Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm and Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm. Hourly rate of £12.00 depending on experience.
