Neon Contracts is employing for our client in the West Bromwich area, they are a leading manufacturer and distributor of electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure solutions. We are looking for an experienced material handler with an overhead crane and combi forklift licenses.
What you'll do:
- Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts
- Offload, identify and safely store raw material in coil and flat sheet form
- Take responsibility for inspection goods for quality and quantity
- Enter traceability data into manual and/or electronic records
- Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
- Be involved in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
