We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with a strong background in construction, refurbishment, or void contracts to take full commercial responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee and manage all financial and technical aspects of construction contracts
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring commercial success and contract compliance
  • Measure, price, and evaluate tenders
  • Maximise project value while minimising costs
  • Manage cost planning, forecasting, and CVR reporting
  • Identify margin improvement opportunities
  • Produce and submit accurate applications for payment
  • Administer subcontractor and supplier contracts
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely payments and collections
  • Support health & safety compliance across all works

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma or equivalent)
  • Experience in construction, retrofit, refurbishment, or fabric upgrade projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and design & build contracts
  • Proven experience in commercial management and subcontractor procurement
  • Confident in producing accurate monthly reports and financial forecasts
  • Ability to work independently while supporting and collaborating with the wider team
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Experienced in managing both direct and subcontract labour
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
