You will be joining a fast-growing, research-driven company building an artificial intelligence using novel machine learning techniques. My client is revolutionising their industry with a track record of building things that others have ruled out as impossible. The Back End (Java) engineer will join a very bright, talented team of engineers with the guidance of technologists who have helped build some of the best-known technology companies today. You will have a great opportunity to work with a variety of languages, frameworks and tools. Applicants will need a background in Java and/or Python with a focus on server-side technologies.
Core skills for the Back End Engineer:
- 12 months+ in a commercial development role
- Solid experience of Java
- Good knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) and microservices
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in engineering
- Experience or interest in AI or machine learning
Salary for the Back End Engineer (Java) will depend on experience, but expect between £40,000 and £60,000 + Pension + benefits.
