Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager – Permanent position – Basingstoke – £35,235 – £38,626 Academics have an exciting opportunity for you to join an amazing Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Basingstoke which provides education and care for 128 young people between the ages of 5 to 16, with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). The are looking to appoint a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager (SWAM) to become part of their growing team. This is a permanent position starting in January 2025, working 42.5 hours per week, salary is between £35,235 – £38,626. To be considered for the role of Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Manager, you must have previous training/experience within a safeguarding/attendance role/Social Services/Police, have GCSE Maths and English grades between A-C and having a good understanding of attendance protocols. This role is suited to someone who is able to remain calm under pressure, be patient, empathetic, build strong relationships with young people and understand and respect the need for confidentiality.
