We are proud to partner with a highly acquisitive and multinational organisation based in Weybridge, currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Technical Accounting team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in supporting complex financial reporting and driving best practices across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review technical accounting papers and memos under IFRS
- Support the group consolidation process and statutory reporting
- Assist with the accounting for acquisitions and other complex transactions
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards
- Liaise with external auditors and support the year-end audit process
Key Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, CA, or ACCA)
- Strong technical accounting experience with a solid grasp of IFRS
- Previous experience in a technical accounting, financial reporting, or audit role
- Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in or with multinational organisations is an advantage
