Are you a qualified accountant seeking a challenging and commercially impactful role in a growing, highly acquisitive business? This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly finance team as a Capital Expenditure (Capex) Accountant. Taking ownership of capital expenditure controls, reporting, budgeting and approvals across the group. This opportunity is a new role within the business and, therefore, a chance to shape the role as your own and feel empowered within the organisation.
What will the Capex Accountant role involve?
- Managing the end-to-end capex and hire purchase accounting process
- Monitoring spend vs forecast
- Budget and track ROI over a 3 year period
- Fixed asset register maintenance and month-end reporting
- Integrating acquired businesses into group accounting processes
- Collaborating with stakeholders across finance, IT, and fleet teams
Suitable Candidate for the Capex Accountant vacancy:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong IFRS 16 knowledge
- Previous experience with CapEx and hire purchase reporting
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP is a bonus
