Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare. We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with an interest in neuropsychiatry and/or forensic psychiatry to join our medium secure Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) ward for working-age men.

About the Role

• Responsible Clinician for the ward, leading assessment and treatment
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of care plans
• Ensure high standards of evidence-based practice
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement

About You

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• MRCPsych or equivalent
• CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry, or Old Age Psychiatry (or within 6 months of completion)
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, speech and language therapists, and social workers. We support Consultants through mentorship, peer groups, and opportunities in teaching, research and service innovation.
