We are currently hiring for a specialist accountancy firm based in Sandwich Kent and Surrey, dedicated to providing tailored financial solutions to clients across the UK. With a strong focus on personal service companies (PSCs) and small businesses, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional client service, leveraging expertise in finance, tax, and compliance to support our clients' growth. They are seeking a recently qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant to join their Finance & Client Services team in a client-focused role. You'll work directly with PSCs and client referrals, providing financial insights, managing accounts, and ensuring outstanding service. Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for PSC clients and referrals, building trusted relationships and addressing their financial needs.
- Financial Management: Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for PSC clients, ensuring compliance with UK regulations (e.g., IR35, HMRC requirements).
- Advisory Support: Offer tailored financial advice to clients, helping them optimise tax and financial strategies within legal frameworks.
- Referral Coordination: Collaborate with client referrals to onboard new PSCs, providing seamless support during setup and ongoing management.
- Reporting: Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly reports for clients, highlighting key financial metrics and actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure integrated client support, including payroll and compliance services.
- Compliance: Stay informed on financial regulations and ensure all client accounts meet ACCA/CIMA standards and UK laws.
- Qualifications: Ideally recently qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant (within the last 2 years).
- Experience: 1-2 years in a client-facing finance role, ideally with exposure to PSCs or small businesses.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial clients.
- Client Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with a consultative approach.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel; payroll system knowledge is a plus.
