Fire Installation & Small Works Engineer

My client is looking for a mobile Fire Installation & Small Works Engineer in and around the Bournemouth area. The work will be mainly installation and small works in the Dorset area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM)on fire alarm systems (both addressable and conventional).
• Install additional devices or expand on existing systems.
• Carry out system upgrades, panel replacements, or minor rewiring jobs.
• Ensure all small works are completed in compliance with relevant British Standards, such as BS 7671 (wiring regs) and BS 5839.
• Ensure all works meet relevant fire safety and electrical regulations.
• Submit accurate job sheets.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience carrying out installation and small works on fire alarms.
• Experience with various fire alarm systems (e.g., Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Hochiki, Morley, Wireless Systems).
• Experience with Security systems is desirable.
• FIA Qualifications are an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence.
