Langley has a fantastic opportunity for an organised, creative, and client focussed Support Worker with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our busy and friendly team in Gillingham, Kent. This role is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £24,727.50 per annum as well as other generous benefits:

Key Responsibilities

  • Key work and support clients generally within your service.
  • Perform individual personal care tasks, including washing, showering and toileting, medication administration and promoting independence.
  • Write care plans and ensure these are followed and handed over to all staff, take an active part in hand over and report any concerns to the Management Team.
  • De-escalate and manage stressful situations in a calm manner.
  • Regularly fully utilise the Trust ‘Client File’ with designated clients to ensure that they are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes.
  • Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers to assist them in the safe delivery of the service and to support client engagement.

A satisfactory enhanced DBS and Adults Barred List check is required for this role and job offers will be subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory evidence of the successful applicant’s right to work in the UK.
