Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Overtime (OTE £37K+)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel: South East focus, with occasional UK-wide travel
Role Overview: You will be responsible for servicing digital audio recording systems in court and tribunal rooms, as well as installing and servicing PAVA and sound systems in these environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and supporting digital audio recorders in court environments
- Installing and servicing PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm) and sound systems
- Performing DSP configuration (preferably Biamp)
- Providing both on-site and remote support
- Soldering, fault finding, and diagnosing/resolving technical issues
- Attending 1-2 service calls per day
- Completing necessary documentation for each service or install
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven AV engineering experience - installation or servicing (minimum 2 years)
- Confident in soldering and cable terminations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work extended hours where required
- Clean driving licence
Desirable Qualifications:
- DSP programming knowledge (Biamp/QSC preferred)
- Experience working on government projects
Package & Benefits:
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic
- Overtime rates of up to 1.5X
