Job title: Head of Civil & Structural Engineering Salary: Competitive DOE Location: Adlington Type: Permanent Overview of the role: The purpose of the Head of Civil/ Structural Engineering role is to be ultimately responsible for the delivery of Civil/ Structural engineering scope across projects, studies, and bids; this includes ensuring designs meet the highest standards with regards to safety, code compliance, scope alignment, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. In this role you will promote structural efficiency, cost optimisation, and quality of output, through resource management and acting as a business subject matter expert. This is a functional role with management and occasional customer facing responsibilities. Responsibilities are but not limited to: • Wholly accountable for the quality of Civil/ Structural engineering output, and on-time delivery in • accordance with project requirements. • Ensure all Civil/ Structural designs are code compliant, meet specification, safe in design, and consider lifecycle requirements. • Support Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Bids with information and guidance. • Work closely with other Department Heads in the business to ensure synergy. • Promote Civil/ Structural…
