Events Porter

We have an exciting new role of Event Porter with us here at Mercedes-Benz World.

This role would include the following duties:

• Setting up rooms and de-rigging rooms for events (often on a daily basis)
• Moving and lifting heavy tables and chairs
• Filling water bottles
• Managing agency porters for larger events
• Maintaining event storage rooms
• Keeping stock count of equipment, cutlery, crockery etc
• Managing linen cleaning contract
• liaising with equipment rental companies
• Polishing cutlery and glassware

Skills required:

• Great communication skills
• Time management
• Organisational skills

This is a casual role and will require flexibility in order to work around event bookings.
