We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the finance team of a large, successful retail business based at their Head Office in Plymouth. The Finance Assistant will support the Revenue team in ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of the company’s revenue streams, credit control and other debtor balances, covering both in-store and online sales channels. This role will work under the guidance of the Revenue Reconciliation Manager, focusing on routine tasks, discrepancy resolution and assisting in maintaining the integrity of the revenue processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of revenue from in-store and online channels for multiple currencies (£ & €).
- Identify and report discrepancies between sales records and actual revenue, escalating issues as needed.
- Support the reconciliation of transactions across various payment platforms, including card payments and online payment processors.
- Accurately input data related to revenue reconciliation processes.
