7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Turbo driving are looking to recruit 7.5tonne delivery drivers for their client based in Doncaster. Temp to permanent opportunities Rates of pay: £13.11 per hour We require 7.5 tonne drivers, working Monday to Friday (weekend work available also) Deliveries will be direct to customers homes/flats etc. Requirements for the role: 7.5 tonne driver with a minimum of 6 months experience experience. Must have Cl Entitlement on their licence, a valid Digital Tacho, and a CPC Card. Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy products, often requiring bending and lifting. Ability to work as part of a two-man team to deliver products to customers\’ homes and stores. Flexibility regarding hours worked, as deliveries can sometimes take longer depending on the route and load. Good communication skills, as you\’ll be interacting directly with customers. Must be able to follow safety and work procedures to ensure the safe handling and delivery of products. The 7.5t Delivery driver must have: At least 6 months experience of driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle. Previous multi-drop experience is essential. Manual handling experience required, especially for handling large and heavy items. Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions carefully. Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK and the ability to navigate efficiently. Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude when dealing with customers.
