Berkeley Scott are proud to partner with a Mediterranean restaurant group to find a dedicated and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join the team in one of their busiest sites. This group have several new openings in the pipeline and plans for further growth whilst utilising fresh local produce and nurturing talent.

Your New Role as Our Senior Sous Chef:

• Amazing Food: Support the Head Chef to prepare, produce and serve a diverse menu, utilising some great local produce.
• Team Management: Lead, manage, and develop the kitchen brigades, ensuring optimal staffing levels in a busy environment.
• Stock Control: Assist with inventory and maintaining efficient stock management procedures.
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in order to ensure 5-star food hygiene ratings.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine and organised kitchen.

What We Ask of You:

• Passion for Cooking: A genuine love for creating the highest quality food using the best ingredients.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrated success as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in high-quality, high-volume gastropubs or restaurants. Branded experience would be a bonus.
• Organised and Communicative: Strong organisational skills and excellent communication.
• Charismatic: You'll be the beating heart of the team, liaising with the executive team, mentoring junior Chefs and motivating everyone in between.
