A prominent Housing Association that has been going for 20 + years are looking for a Year-End Accountant to join their collaborative, passionate team.
The organisation provides affordable, safe homes, predominantly across Oxford. They put a strong emphasis on tenant and worker satisfaction, resulting in an environment that is enjoyable and provides opportunities to grow and develop.
Role:
- Preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
- Maintaining the accuracy of the balance sheet
- Preparation of audit working papers and helping with accruals, prepayments and Trial Balances
- Knowledge of Management Accounts / Business Plans desirable but not essential
Requirements:
- Experience of Year-End Accounts within a Housing Association
- Technically strong and the ability to work relatively independently
- Strong initiative, curiosity and drive with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high attention to detail
- To be highly numerate and computer literate with strong excel skills
