TV Rheinland is a leading provider of technical services worldwide. We provide a broad range of testing, inspection and certification services to ensure the safety, reliability and regulatory compliance of engineering assets throughout their lifecycle.

As part of the TUV family, Risktec Resourcing have been tasked to assist our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) to source an Inspection Engineer to cover the Southern Region (UK).

Job Summary

Inspection of pressurised static equipment e.g. vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices, to meet regulatory and client requirements.

Job Description

Reporting to the Local Head of department / Team Leader you will co-ordinate with other members of the team for large shutdowns. You will also coordinate with CAT 2 Inspection Engineers on repairs and fitness for service to define the optimum solutions.

Education

  • Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Engineering Technician status desirable.
  • 5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e.g. mechanical technician.

Experience & Skills

  • Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Experience in the Chemical and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Understanding of engineering principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Meeting tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently.
  • Appreciation of pressure equipment.
  • Experience/appreciation of non-destructive examination techniques (NDT).
