Controls Engineer (Material Handling / Cargo Lifts) £50,000 DOE + Overtime OTE 55k + Training + Company Benefits Hounslow, London Are you a Controls Engineer from a material handling/cargo lifts background looking to be recognised as the go-to technical specialist working on a range of material handling and lifting equipment within Heathrow Airport? In this days-based role you will be working on industrial lifting and material handling equipment, including conveyors, motors, and relays for example, with a heavy emphasis on PLCs and software related issues. You will be working days however there will need to be flexibility for an occasional night shift paid at a premium, roughly once a fortnight if needed. The majority of this role will be based at Heathrow Airport (90%) with some travel to other airports required. This internationally renowned company were founded in the 1940’s and boast a huge presence within the automotive, retail, and airport industries.
