Join a growing design consultancy in the North West working with national PLC housebuilders across the UK. We are on the lookout for a Design Manager with strong experience in residential layouts to lead exciting site design projects from concept through to planning.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering creative and commercially sound residential site layouts
- Leading projects through feasibility to planning
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities
- Managing junior design staff and overseeing planning documents
- Some elements of winning business and business development
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years in residential layout design (consultancy or housebuilder)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; Adobe Suite / Vectorworks & SketchUp a bonus
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and design standards
- Organised, communicative, and confident managing multiple projects
