We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teaching Assistant with a background in dance to join our inclusive and creative primary school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about education and the performing arts, and who can bring creativity and movement into the classroom to support pupils learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum

• Lead or assist with dance-based activities and movement sessions

• Work with individuals and small groups to support learning, including pupils with additional needs

• Help create a stimulating and positive learning environment

• Contribute to extracurricular opportunities, including school performances or clubs

What Were Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• A background or qualification in dance or performing arts

• A strong team player with excellent communication skills

• Passionate about helping children grow in confidence and creativity

• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable:

• Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

• Experience supporting children with SEN
