A chance to finely tune your project and account management skills, working closely with a revered design leader in a small team (within a larger set up).
You will love this role if you like the challenge of the completeness of running a small design team. You get to feel like you're running a small business, so you will have an unenviable skill set the other side of this contract.
You get to work cheek by jowl with a design leader and day to day you run from the granular to the big picture, and you have a love of both.
There's a strong functional day to day element of the role:
- Making sure that the small team of designers are moving the brand identity projects along well and that they have the support they need;
- Assessing and preparing scopes of work for incoming branding projects;
- Upwardly managing the needs of a busy design leader;
- Demonstrating high financial literacy with the FD.
There will be 4-5 projects on the go at any one time and the clients cross sectors. It really is a case of no job is too big or too small and you get to be a caretaker and gatekeeper.
You’ll have:
- An authentic love of graphic design
- Around 7+ years account and project management experience, agency side.
- Great social and listening skills
- An 'I've got that covered' mentality
You’ll be:
- A master juggler
- Unflappable
- The best of listeners
- A natural eye for detail (nothing gets past you).
Hybrid working. Contract circa 12 - 14 months.
