We are seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious £2M high-spec office fit-out project in Manchester city centre. This is a fast-paced, design-led scheme requiring strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent logistics coordination within a live urban environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the day-to-day site operations, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and programme adherence.
- Manage all site logistics, including deliveries, storage, access, waste removal, and interface with neighbouring businesses or occupants.
- Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring seamless sequencing and coordination.
- Liaise closely with the client, architects, project managers, and consultants to ensure design intent is delivered.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.
- Uphold health & safety compliance and carry out regular inspections and toolbox talks.
- Proven experience managing high-spec commercial fit-out projects, ideally between £1M - £5M in value.
- Strong logistics planning and execution experience, particularly on constrained city-centre sites.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications are essential.
- Able to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
- Based within commutable distance to Manchester with flexibility for extended hours if required.
