We seek calm, resourceful, and enthusiastic individuals who are highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about supporting older adults. The service is a 3-minute walk from Mile End, with convenient local shops and bus services nearby. It comprises 41 flats providing residential nursing care.
Your role includes utilizing advanced communication and engagement skills to support individuals' mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. You will collaborate with the support circle to help individuals achieve their life goals. Flexible hours and working patterns are available.
Creative Support, a not-for-profit organization, provides high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities and other support needs. Our support is tailored to each service user's needs, promoting independence and community engagement.
Professional development includes a comprehensive induction, a level 3 certificate in 'Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care,' and automatic enrolment in the NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care after the probationary period. Regular supervision and appraisal meetings will help discuss training and development needs.
