An exciting multi-channel retailer is currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Director, who will sit on the leadership team and help shape and drive the business forward in both their UK and international expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all commercial finance matters and implement best-in-class processes suitable for high growth periods.
- Partner with department heads to understand key issues and business drivers.
- Educate store teams on the importance of accuracy, budgets vs forecasts, etc.
- Co-lead fundraising activities.
- Guide the company’s strategy and oversee both short-term and long-term planning.
- Manage core finance functions such as Month-End Close as the head of Finance.
- Act as the escalation point for external auditors during the annual audit process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualification with several years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performance teams.
- PE/VC experience is desirable but not essential.
- Fundraising experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience in the consumer industry is preferred.
