This team focuses on supporting its clients to react and adjust their VAT management approach because of the global trend towards tax authority digitisation. An opportunity has arisen for you to join the team at Director level and focus on SAP advisory work.
SAP is a key area of focus for the team which sees them assisting clients to get the most out of their systems from a tax perspective or working with clients who are looking to implement these systems for the first time. You will work with the leadership team to help steer and develop the SAP Tax business as a whole and in turn, be given the opportunity to progress and develop your own career.
You will act as a key member of the Tax Transformation team, delivering high quality SAP projects and advice to clients based on experience and best practice. You will be expected to build and maintain relationships with clients as well as build internal relationships within the organisation in order to identify opportunities to win new work. Ensuring technical excellence will be paramount when overseeing and managing the successful delivery of tax SAP projects and you will be required to support with talent development internally.
To succeed, you will need to be a SAP tax expert with significant experience of end to end SAP implementation projects, focusing on VAT/GST or Sales & Use Tax. Knowledge of multi-country tax requirements gathering and deployment experience will also be key. Whilst a background in consulting is preferred, it is not essential, however you must have the skills to interact with clients and work on large-scale projects.
