Fence Installer

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our Stratford based commercial landscaping client who are seeking a Fence Installer to join their busy landscaping team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is seeking career progression, the role could lead to a Team Leader or supervisory role. Full uniform is provided. Employment is on a permanent basis, with work all year round. Pension and healthcare are available. A bonus scheme is available where you can earn an extra £2 per hour based on time keeping, attendance and work completed. Hours of work are 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Various forms of fencing at high profile building sites
• Feather edging- anything from 18-20 metres a day
• Installation of various methods of fencing
• Concrete post and gravel boards
• Metal Work and estate railing- 15- 20 metres a day
• Post and knee railing – 15- 20 metres a day
• Reading site plans
• Taking photos before and after site work

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a fencing role
• Worked on commercial builders’ site previously
• Be able to work towards deadlines and follow instruction
• Be able to work at a quick pace
• Have a full manual driving licence
• CSCS card is preferred but not essential
