We are working with a growing business in Cornwall to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Manager for an initial 3-month contract. This is a hands-on role covering the full finance function and will report directly to the Managing Director.
The Role
As the Interim Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day financial operations - from transactional processing to management reporting. You’ll provide clarity, stability, and commercial insight during a key period for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee transactional finance, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for the MD
- Support cashflow forecasting and budgeting
- Ensure financial controls and processes are followed and improved where necessary
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and other stakeholders as needed
- Support the wider team with ad hoc financial analysis and advice
