What You Will Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive safety reviews of product systems, support equipment, and facilities to establish and maintain safety requirements.
  • Analyse and recommend safety criteria in system design and operational procedures to control or eliminate potential hazards.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation to support customer and operational requirements.
  • Perform audits of operational areas to assess the effectiveness of the system safety programme.
  • Lead safety analysis activities across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with functional safety standards.
  • Participate in accident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

What You Will Bring:

  • Expertise in high-voltage system knowledge and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) standards.
  • Hands-on experience with safety verification testing, including fault injection testing.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills to support safety analysis activities.
  • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, with additional certification in Functional Safety.
  • Proven experience with full safety lifecycle processes, from hazard analysis to safety validation, ideally within BEV and PHEV HV system architecture.
