Are you looking for a temp role with an immediate start? A temp role that could become a perm role for the right person? My client based in Aldershot are seeking a Screen printer/production operative to join them on a temp ongoing basis. Although this is a temp ongoing role, they have said it could become a perm role for the right candidate.
The role will include but isn’t limited to the below:
- Collecting jobs from the production manager.
- Operating a semi-automatic print machine.
- Working on small items at a bench.
- Screen printing.
- Collecting stock/equipment from stores department.
- Quality checking your supplies & your finished product, flag any issues to the quality control team.
- Keep your work station, machines & space clean & tidy.
- Picking, packing & labelling products for despatch.
Full training given but similar experience would be advantageous.
Requirements are as follows:
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Machine operating experience preferred but not essential.
- Previous print experience or experiences in a hands-on fiddly role would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to work alone and use own initiative.
- Must be able to work on your feet all day.
Working days & hours:
Monday to Friday 8:15 am to 5:00 pm. (45 min unpaid break)
Pay & payment dates:
£12.21 + Holiday pay = £13.68 per hour. Payments are made weekly, one week in hand. Every Friday.
