Contract Electronics Test Engineer

Based full-time in Cambridge, this contract offers a day rate of £350–£400 and the opportunity to apply your test engineering expertise in a truly advanced engineering environment. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for planning and executing the verification and validation of sophisticated PCB assemblies and systems. Working alongside electronics, firmware, and production engineers, you’ll define test requirements, design and build test rigs, and lead fault-finding investigations down to component level. You\’ll use your deep understanding of analogue, digital, power, and embedded circuits to drive the development of robust, scalable test methodologies. From root cause analysis to test documentation, you’ll take ownership of the full test life-cycle, contributing to both new product introduction and ongoing manufacturing support.
