Our growing Environmental Planning team is seeking talented and experienced individuals (Senior Consultant to Associate level) to join us across various UK locations, primarily London, Reading, Bristol, Taunton, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, but we are open to other Stantec office locations.

At Stantec, with every community we redefine what is possible. You will help solve key challenges around housing and infrastructure delivery, work on renewable energy projects (solar, battery storage, energy networks), and contribute to decarbonisation efforts (carbon capture, storage, transport, technology). You will also help build resilience to climate change and improve water quality through various water projects. You will work within diverse planning regimes (including NSIP / DCO and TCPA) to help clients meet objectives safely, sustainably, and efficiently.

About you

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A relevant degree and full membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Experience in environmental consultancy or a related industry sector.
  • Expertise in environmental impact assessments (EIAs) across various project types (real estate, energy, water, infrastructure).
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system (Town & Country Planning and DCO regimes).
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for sustainability and making a positive impact.
