Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Painting & Decorating Assessor to join a progressive training provider delivering high-quality apprenticeship training across the Greater London area and the South East. You will be responsible for assessing learners working towards Level 2 Painting & Decorating qualifications, supporting them through to successful completion and End Point Assessment (EPA).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess Painting & Decorating Apprenticeships in line with relevant awarding body requirements.
- Plan, observe, assess, and provide feedback to learners both on-site and via remote delivery platforms.
- Utilise OneFile e-portfolio system to record learner progress, set targets, and support development.
- Ensure learners are meeting the requirements of 20% off-the-job training, ensuring all activity is logged appropriately.
- Support learners in preparation for EPA by conducting regular reviews and mock assessments.
- Liaise with workplace mentors to ensure a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date records, contribute to internal quality assurance and attend standardisation meetings.
