Staffline are Hiring! We are looking to speak with experienced quality engineers. Our ideal candidate will have experience working within the Automotive sector or Injection Moulding. This is largely a hands-on / customer-facing role, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. Please note: A Full UK Driving licence is essential for this role.
In your new job as the Quality Engineer:
- Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO9001 requirements
- Engage in new product introduction activities
- Ensure compliance to customer specifications
- Manage and resolve customer, supplier, and internal nonconformances
- Conduct process and product audits periodically
- Identify and act upon opportunities for improvement
- Generate process related documentation including work instructions, quality alerts, PFMEAs, control plans etc.
- Support with production trials
- Develop and report on COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) within business
- Oversee customer and internally driven engineering changes
- Generate and maintain business relevant KPIs
- Supervise and lead a team of 3 shift QC personnel
- Flexible approach
- Ability to adapt within the business
