Our client is a well-established, growing asset management house. They are now looking to recruit a Head of Middle Office to assist the COO with a number of business-critical operational duties.
The Head of Middle Office will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Lead, manage and oversee the Middle Office team to ensure effective implementation of dealing and trade execution and key deliverables across the Operations and Oversight business functions.
- Oversee all investment portfolios to align with regulatory and risk requirements in addition to performing relevant reviews.
- Completion of all due diligence across oversight, policies and procedures.
- Monitoring a timely completion of controls, actions and issues across the oversight functions and third-party providers.
Due to the nature of this role, the Head of Middle Office must meet the following skill set:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience across Operations within Asset Management.
- Experienced at working with Board and Executive level stakeholders.
- Proven experience in trade execution and investment oversight.
- Experience managing a team is essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the UK regulatory environment.
- Ability to generate recommendations which improve business processes.
