The RoleAs a Technical Claims Specialist, you will take responsibility for the end-to-end management of a diverse range of commercial property claims.You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and strategically, with their best interests at the forefront.The techcnial claims team sits behind the frontline claims handlers, acting as the referral point for tricky, complex and challenging cases. Key ResponsibilitiesManage complex referred claims for the frontline handling teamsReview and interpret policy coverage, liaising with clients on required documentation and disclosuresAdvocate for clients’ interests in negotiations with insurers, loss adjusters, and other third partiesMaintain accurate and timely electronic claim records and ensure all SLA standards are metSupport technical discussions and provide guidance on complex or high-value claimsProduce reports and attend claims review meetings as requiredMentor and support less experienced team members when neededExperience requiredProven experience handling UK commercial property claims; experience in CAR, Casualty, or Financial Lines is a bonusAbility to interpret and apply policy wordings confidentlyStrong communication and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and excellent organisationConfidence working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationshipsA proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving and technical leadershipPackageBase salary up to £60,000Annual performance bonusEnhanced pensionPrivate Medical InsuranceFull support for professional development
