The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

Prince Talent & Resourcing are working with a National Managed Service provider who need a Technical Site Engineer for an immediate contract. The right candidate will need to be based in Scotland, with a requirement to travel to sites across Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Skills:

  • Ability to interpret and work from complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience designing and installing mechanical, low-voltage electrical, IT, and network equipment.
  • Skilled in managing third-party contractors and site-based teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience working in industrial environments (e.g. substations).
  • Experience leading or supervising on-site engineers and third parties.
  • Experience managing and coordinating installations with multiple on-site stakeholders.
  • Experience in the energy and renewable energy sectors, ideally in Scotland.
  • Understanding of site health & safety controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with operational technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical qualifications in IT, networking, or mechanical/electrical engineering (e.g., HNC/HND, City & Guilds, vendor certifications, or equivalent experience).
  • IOSH Managing Safely, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent certifications.
  • Able to obtain government security clearance.
  • Full UK Driving License.
