We are looking for an experienced and qualified Gas Safe Plumber to join our dynamic Property Maintenance team in Surrey. If you're a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a collaborative and supportive working environment.
As a Gas Safe Plumber, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems across a range of properties. From heating systems and drainage to water supply and sanitation, your role will ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires hands-on experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a flexible approach to support on-call and seasonal shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair water supply, sanitation, waste disposal, and central heating systems.
- Service piped systems including drainage and closed-loop heating circuits.
- Test systems for efficiency and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory of plumbing materials and equipment.
- Support other maintenance staff when needed.
- Adhere to all company health and safety standards, including COSHH and building regulations.
- Participate in shift rotations and on-call duties as required.
- Carry out additional duties within the scope of the role as directed by management.
- City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing (Essential)
- Unvented hot water systems ticket (Essential)
- Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and installations (Essential)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
- Familiarity with current building regulations
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Own hand tools
