We are seeking a refined, discreet Personal Assistant to support a distinguished private client based in London. This is a rare and long-term opportunity for someone with traditional values, impeccable manners and a genuine appreciation for culture, discretion and the finer details of private service. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a small, well-run household team, providing seamless support across all aspects of the principal’s personal and professional life. This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, communicates with poise and professionalism, and thrives in a structured and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft refined correspondence to high-level contacts including cultural institutions, Royal households, and diplomatic figures.
  • Proactively manage an intricate diary, coordinating appointments and events with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Accompany the Principal to events and meetings.
  • Handle communications (email, telephone, and written) with grace and precision.
  • Maintain well-organised personal records, lists, and files with the highest level of discretion.
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper and confidante, ensuring the principal’s needs are always met with foresight and care.
  • Oversee scheduling and documentation for personal matters, including medical appointments.
  • Liaise seamlessly with the wider household team including a House Manager, Chauffeur, and Housekeepers.
  • Manage gift sourcing and occasional personal shopping with taste and refinement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a PA role within a private household or high-level corporate setting.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with impeccable grammar and professional presentation.
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Organised, thoughtful, and calm under pressure.
  • Genuinely warm, respectful, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Loyal and hard-working with a hands-on approach and high personal standards.
  • Comfortable commuting to Victoria within one hour.

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 7:00pm, with flexibility for occasional out-of-hours support.

Salary: Up to £80k gpa, depending on experience.
