Whether for short-term event hire or long-term infrastructure planning and system implementation, they equip organisations of all sizes with fast, secure, and dependable communication technologies.Key Features of the Role:Perform bench engineering: repair and rectify faultsInstall, test, and commission on-site radio systemsTrace and rectify faults in radio systems on-siteTravel to customer premises and participate in call-out rotaProvide telephone and remote PC support for clientsLiaise with clients, manufacturers, and third-party suppliersConduct technical administration and documentationRequirementsKnowledge and Skills Required: Experience with Digital Radio Communications Equipment, especially DMR systems (Motorola Solutions, Hytera)Strong knowledge of Linux, IP, TCP/IP, networking, and command lineProfessional conduct in office and customer site settingsAbility to produce clear reports for clients and colleaguesBe comfortable working at height.Must pass police/local authority vetting (enhanced DBS check may also apply).Valid UK driving license – No more than 6 points, prepared to travel throughout the UK and willing to work flexible hours whenever necessaryExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to plan effectively and prioritise tasksCommitted to providing a high-quality customer serviceBenefitsWhat’s on Offer?They offer a competitive salary in a range of £28,000 – £32,000, possibly more for an outstanding candidate.
