Manpower Print & Packaging Division are currently retained on behalf of one of our prestigious partners, who are a global industry leading brand within their industry. With 200+ years heritage, a presence in 18 countries, no less than 45 plants globally (with additional sites in development) and being recognised as innovator within industry with a passion and global ethos focused on sustainability, they are considered within our industry as an ‘Employer of Choice’. Our client is looking to strengthen their existing team by appointing a Supply Chain Executive, based on their Sutton-in-Ashfield site. Salary: £28,000 – £35,000, dependent upon experience. Main Duties To Liaise with Customers, SPOCs, Commercial and Logistics to obtain specification data from customers and create standing data in JDE and DIS. To agree and monitor delivery dates and input sales orders. Progress artwork and repro to meet delivery dates. Liaison with other plants to organise Interco despatches to meet customer requirements. Input and control all standing data, including item creation and maintain price held within the JDE system. To maintain control of any products made for their customer portfolio including progressing disposal of slow-moving stocks. To organise the despatch from the site in an effective and efficient manner, keeping customers advised of progress. Booking transport ensuring effective load quantities and despatch progressing.Key Accountabilities: Direct communication with customers to ensure optimum communication in both directions on Demand, Delivery and Designs. Negotiation with planners to ensure acceptable delivery dates and escalate as appropriate. Progress chasing to ensure customer requirements are met. Input of all Sales orders and maintenance of short-term forecast data. Creation & maintenance of specification price lists by item. Administration of all new and changed designs. Effective communication with other functions regarding any changes within the system and changed requirements from individuals. Organisation of shipment of inter-factory and export product from the site in an effective manner via the agreed transport contractors. Coordination of despatch with export customers.
