Our prestigious client, a leading Hotel and Restaurant on the outskirts of Sudbury is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join their busy team. This Luxury Hotel and Restaurant is a 4* facility, catering for romantic dinners, tourists visiting the historic Suffolk area as well as weddings, events and private dining. They are well known in the local area for their high standard of service and are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager who will uphold this in everything that they do.
The successful applicant will need to be very customer focused with a strong and friendly personality, a good background in dealing with high quality food, and be confident in leading a team, coaching and training staff, and managing this busy business.
As Food & Beverage Manager you will:
- Lead, train and motivate staff
- Work closely with the management team and Executive Chef
- Delivery of exceptional service at all times
- Ensure effective communication occurs throughout the team and between all departments.
The successful Food & Beverage Manager will have at least 2 years’ experience as a Food & Beverage Manager/Restaurant Manager role or have experience managing a similar style business. You will also have an exceptional knowledge of fine foods and fine wines, be passionate, career driven and a focused manager who is accountable for ensuring a professional and high quality standard of service is maintained in the restaurant at all times. As Food & Beverage Manager you will be a hands on professional that is capable of building strong relationships with both staff and guests.
Due to location, a car driver is essential, and Live-in accommodation can be provided for the right candidate.
