An opportunity has arisen within West Lothian Council Housing, Customer & Building Services for Housing Officers to join our Housing Operations Team. You must have the key skills that will enable you to provide an excellent generic housing management service to our customers and partners.
You will be responsible and accountable for the implementation of all Housing Management policies and procedures and ensure compliance with current legislation, regulation and good practice.
You should be able to communicate well at all levels and have a working knowledge of providing assistance to tenants and their families who have complex needs who are experiencing difficulties in sustaining their tenancy for a variety of reasons.
You should be able to co-ordinate service delivery to ensure that multi-functional services are delivered in accordance with council policy and to meet the needs of tenants and their communities.
Chartered Institute of Housing Level 4 or equivalent and recent relevant frontline Housing Management experience.
The successful candidate will have access to West Lothian Council’s Pool Car Scheme in order to undertake approved business travel.
