PE Global are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician for a 'temp to perm' role with a leading multinational Food Manufacturing client based in Reading. You efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with clients. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of senior team members, work independently and collaboratively to support the operation and goals of the laboratory.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by ensuring effective organization of assigned workload, integrity of analytical data, and timely/accurate provision of results.
  • Perform basic routine pharmacopoeia analysis using aseptic technique under supervision.
  • Operate basic lab equipment as directed.
  • Competently use generic and specific software packages required for the role, including the Laboratory’s LIMS system and Q-Pulse.
  • Provide training in routine activities.
  • Perform lab admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
  • Conduct experiments, complete assigned projects, or offer functional services under supervision.
  • Assess data for compliance and accuracy.
