Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced and Cat A cleared Prison Nurse in York. You'll work in a unique environment, delivering many of the nurse-led services that are provided in the wider community, with a unique opportunity to support someone throughout their time in prison. You will be required to offer support within the prison.
Duties include:
- Dealing with minor injury and illness
- Emergency care
- Health assessments
- Safe and legal use of appropriate medicines
- Working collaboratively with the wider team whilst treating all patients as individuals, respecting their privacy and dignity
Pay: £31.00ph (Ltd Umbrella) = £27.29ph (PAYE Inclusive)
Hours: 37 hours across 4 days 08:00am - 19:00pm
Person Specification: The successful applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the NMC and have recent experience working within a prison. The applicant must hold current cat A prison vetting along with a clear transferable DBS.
