Section Engineer – RoadworksAs a Section Engineer you will manage a team of engineers and have responsibilityfor a section of works including Bridges, Highways, and other structures, workingon contracts alongside National Highways, Network Rail and other Local AuthorityClientsDIMENSIONSFINANCIAL: Production of, monitoring and management of budget for the works.Contribution to change control and production of contract mechanisms for cost recoveryORGANISATIONAL: Manages small project teams of Supervisory and Subcontractors / coordinate with other Section Engineers for day to day site activities.INTERFACESINTERNAL: Operations Team (all levels), Design & Engineering Team, Health &Safety Team, Cost Control Team, Project Control Team, Communication Team,Quality and Handover Team, Environmental Team, Core TeamEXTERNAL: Supply Chain, occasional interface with Client and other external stakeholdersACCOUNTABILITIESAs a Section Engineer you will: Allocate tasks to Site Engineers and supervise the task completion.
